Pandemonium

There were a lot of horror spoofs in the early 80's. Student Bodies was probably the best one. One that I haven't covered on here before is 1982's Pandemonium. Today, I'm catching up with this forgotten comedy for the first time in 30 years.

There's a killer on the loose at a cheerleader camp. It's up to Mountie named Cooper, Tom Smothers, to catch the murderer.

This is a really goofy movie, but it has a lot of laughs. It also boasts an impressive supporting cast that includes Carol Kane, Paul Reubens, Eve Arden, Tab Hunter, Judge Reinhold, Phil Hartman, and Eileen Brennan.

This is definitely one of the better horror comedies of the 80's.

Sadly this movie isn't available on dvd. Luckily I was able to catch it on the Charge! network.
