Spltz

As my regular readers know, I'm a fan of the teen sex comedies of the 80's. That being said, I remember seeing one called Splitz on the video shelves back in the day but I never rented it. Well I finally got around to seeing it tonight and here's my thoughts.

Splitz is about three college girls who have a band. Their manager struggles to find them gigs so the three decide to help a nerdy sorority compete in some sporting events against a snooty sorority.

This movie really wants to be the next Animal House. Unfortunately its not. There's a few laughs but most of it falls flat. It does however sport a pretty goodcast that includes Robin Johnson (Times Square) and Shirley Stoller (The Honeymoon Killers.)

Overall its pretty forgettable.
