Voyage of the Rock Aliens

A group of aliens are in search of a planet with great rock n roll music. They decide to visit Earth. That's where their captain, Tom Nolan, falls for the plucky Dee Dee, Pia Zadora. Her dream is to sing in a band, so the aliens let her join their group, much to the disapproval of her boyfriend, Craig Sheffer. Not to mention there's a serial killer, Michael Berryman, on the loose. And a sheriff, the always great Ruth Gordon, trying to capture the aliens. Oh and there's a giant squid on the attack.

This is a lot of goofy fun that I'm glad I finally caught up with.
