I've been on an Angela Bettis lick this weekend, so I thought I would catch up with her first starring role. After being brutally attacked and raped by some local rednecks, a hispanic teen, Douglas Spain, kills his attackers and hides out in the home of a classmate, Bettis, who's strict, religious parents are away on a church retreat. At first the sheltered girl is frightened, but eventually develops feelings for the outlaw.

This movie covers similar territory that other, better films have covered. That being said, the performances, especially Bettis, are quite good. On an interesting side note, the film was directed by Don Most, yes Ralph Malph from Happy Days.
